Death from Blogging

I think she has overblogged!! I know how she feels I have hit a lot of snags with online generators, some of them are fun but some are just plain frustrating. I can play endlessly but just unsure how to get some of the images onto my blog! I could soon be joining this poor woman on the library floor!!

#8 RSS Feeds

I can see that RSS would be fantastic for travellers, imagine connecting them to your mobile if you are a die hard sports fan travelling in some remote country. You would only have to find a mobile tower to find out all your favourite footy team news. I can also see that if you had a dead keen interest in a specialised field that this would be an invaluable piece of technology. Myself I can't go past , finding a comfy chair on a cracker of a day, sharing a cup of coffee with a newspaper to catch up on some headlines. Failing that in this busy lifestyle, I do manage a quick scan of the paper copy whenever i can snatch a few minutes.

Well we have come a long way in the technology world in libraries. I can remember card catalogues, book stamping and shuushing in libraries and whilst I am showing my age i am pleased to say that technology doesnt scare me witless. These librarians pictured here look like they might be interested in reading my blog! I wonder what they would think of modern technology.

The grumpy Librarian

Why did the librarian slip and fall on the library floor?
Because she was in the non-friction section.

Who says Librarians dont know everything!!

Ask the librarian
Dilbert is talking into the telephone. "Hello, is the the library reference desk?"
"Yes," the voice on the other end replies.
"What's the average running speed of the Tazmanian Boola-boola dog?"
"8.3 miles per hour."
Dilbert stares at the phone and says, "I can't believe she knew that."
The voice continues, "And you have something stuck in your teeth."
